Today is going well so far. We made it to the hospital about 15 minutes before they took my dad down for surgery at at about 10:30. He was very calm and relaxed and ready for a meal before-hand.
We just had our first surgery update at 2:20 saying things were going very well, he is currently on the bypass machine and they are planning on repairing the 4 blocked arteries.
We should have another update in an hour or two.

Yes - hospital updates from the VB's. I love those! Glad things are going good so far with the surgery.
